HELLO EVERYBODY
i know i havent posted in a long time, but, then again, i've had a lot going on for the recent times.
First off, My grandpa (on my moms side) died. he left us on october 30th, 2008. he will be greatly missed. i remember he was not amongst the holiest of men, but i do recall he occasionally went to church, for things like christmas, easter, so on. i think the only other times he went were for weddings, baptisms, and confirmations. he was a fun grandpa, perhaps with a wry sense of humor at times. always going on about how in his day, you were up at 4AM and already starting the day. he would say how you would start having to do some of those chores sometime, but while you knew he was joking, you always had a sense of keeping a safe distance, like staying away from the puppy when you knew it was mad. he would always go to all family gatherings and other necessary parties, and he was funny most of the time, if you knew what he was joking about. like a joke about the '60's where all the grown-ups laughed, but while you were pretending to laugh, you knew that you shouldnt laugh too hard because then someone would notice a kid born in the '90's laughing about a joke from the '60's, which would nearly ruin the joke. He was a barber, whose shop resided in south omaha, right across from a BK, yet surrounded by mexicans. he was always gentle, and you knew you were a big boy not when you started biking without training wheels, but when you could sit in the barber seat without a big cushion to raise you up to a comfortable height.
